This is a time of the ancient Hawaiian four-month-long celebration called “Makahiki” when friends and families gathered to give thanks for all the blessings of the past year and prepared for the new one, a time for feasting, games, and peace. I think it’s very nice that the American and Canadian Thanksgiving Days fall near the beginning of the Makahiki season. Blessings of peace, prosperity, and fun to all of you.
